Beware of work from home scams and never answer an email you didn’t first contact. Unfortunately not everyone is honest and you must be just as careful online as you do otherwise

There are some legitimate job offers that require a fee up front or money for supplies. And remember, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

You must Beware of Scams because unfortunately not everyone is honest. If you receive an e-mail soliciting a work-from-job that you didn’t personally inquire about, chances are that same e-mail was sent to thousands of other people!

Another red flag is when you are told you must send money to receive the information you need to get started in your new career. The truth is that there ARE some companies that do require money up front and they are completely legitimate!

It can be very confusing as there are unfortunately more scams than there are reasonably priced business investments used as a means of becoming employed. Here are a few tips to help you figure out the difference--

Always ask to speak to a person
If they refuse your request, STOP!
NEVER provide your personal information until you have spoken to a human being and have had all your questions answered, and research complete!
Request information as simple as their phone number, Business address, and web address. If they cannot do this, they probably don’t exist!
Find out if they are listed with the Better Business Bureau.
ASK specific questions like- What exactly would you be doing? How and when would you get paid, and how much?

Remember, if they don’t want you to have the necessary information to check them out, they’re probably hiding something! THINK!- Would you show up to work without knowing what tasks you will be performing or how many hours you will be working, or how much you‘ll be paid?

Be sure and have your questions ready ahead of time and be prepared, so that if they ARE a reputable company, you will appear responsible! Keep your eyes open and try to Beware of work from home Scams!
